“All kids deserve a chance to be innocent, dream, and be just kids. So they can, in turn, become successful adults and great human beings”

Syavash Farahmandi – Founder, Just a Kid Co.

JAK is a modern apparel company with a philanthropic vision. Whenever you purchase a product from Just a Kid Company, you’re helping a kid in need with basic necessities so they can have a shot at accomplishing their dreams.

We are an initiative created in July 2016 to alleviate child malnutrition in Venezuela.

Our country is currently experiencing a strong  humanitarian crisis,  particularly affecting the protection of our children from low – income and triggering an increase in child malnourishment.

To counter this rise we aim to mobilize impoverished communities to collectively face the threat of  child malnutrition. By opening soup kitchens that provide children with lunch from Monday to Friday we can ensure they are getting the necessary proteins and calories for a healthy development.

FUNDANA

FUNDANA is a non-profit civil organization, that provides support to the National System for the Protection of Children and Adolescents, with over 25 years’ experience developing social, family and children attention programs. Our programs aim to provide protection, restitution, and support to guarantee and respect the rights of children and adolescents, women and families, by implementing shelter and family placement programs, and by providing attention, family orientation and community prevention.

FUNDANA was created on August 12, 1991, to protect and form children living in maximum social exclusion, from birth to age 6. These are abandoned children, forgotten by society, children that have never known the warmth of a home. Mission and Vision: FUNDANA aims to provide comprehensive and preventive attention to children and adolescents under risk to their physical and/or emotional integrity, in situations where their rights are violated; to educate families to fulfill a sustaining function and to raise awareness among society about this social problem.
